The Quebec Farmers’ Advocate is an award-winning monthly newspaper published by the Quebec Farmers’ Association to provide timely information to English–speaking farmers in Quebec.
The Advocate, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2005, is faithfully read by more than 3,000 readers including government officials, researchers and, most specifically farmers.
Regular contributors include the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ), the Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA), the Programme d’analyse des troupeaux laitiers du Québec (PATLQ), Nova Scotia Agricultural College, Macdonald College, Kemptville College, Miner Institute, Quebec 4-H, and the Quebec Beef Federation.
The Advocate is mailed free to all QFA members, as part of their membership fee. Annual subscriptions are also available for purchase.
