Finance Committee

The standing finance committee is currently composed of:

  • Art Abbey
  • Gib Drury (QFA President)
  • Chris Judd (QFA Vice-President)
  • Ivan Hale (Executive director, non-voting)

The committee’s mandate and responsibilities are:

  • Reviewing auditors’ reports
  • Recommending choice of auditors
  • Reviewing salary ranges of full time staff
  • Preparing annual budgets for Board consideration
  • Preparing annual cash flow projections
  • Designing financial reports for the Board
  • Recommend policies on Directors’ and staff expenses
  • Advising on taxation, banking, credit arrangements, signatories on financial documents, investments, internal management
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by the Board
