Communications Committee

The ad hoc Communications committee was created in 2005 and is composed of:

  • Gib Drury (Chair)
  • Ivan Hale
  • Chris Judd
  • Pamela Ledoux
  • Andrew McClelland

The committee’s mandate and responsibilities are:

  • Developing and monitoring implementation of a communications strategy for QFA
  • Reviewing and commenting on the design and content of The Quebec Farmers’ Advocate
  • Developing and maintaining communication pathways between members and QFA leadership and staff
  • Advising on the “corporate” image of QFA, e.g. letterhead, business cards, annual report
  • Advising on the design of the QFA website
  • Advising on radio, television and/or video programs in which the QFA has an active role
  • Advising on potential sponsorship opportunities with the private sector
  • Advising on membership information packages
  • Advising on media training for QFA spokespersons
  • Advising on language policy for QFA
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by the Board
